Wonderful vintage 1950s/1960s dance/cocktail dress! The waistline and cuffs are encircled with a double line of sparkly stones. Clear rhinestones alternate with faux white stones. There are two snaps on each cuff. The dress zips up the back. The top layer of fabric and the sleeves are made from a sheer gray material over a second layer of sheer pink, then under that is a solid pink fabric which also feels like an acetate and/or polyester blend. The attached scarf can be tied in front on one side or in back. There is a union-made label on the inside seam of the skirt but no other tags are present. The very full layers on the skirt make the skirt flare out very nicely while spinning or dancing. This is just a spectacular dress for any vintage clothing fan! Dress is in excellent vintage condition with no rips, stains nor odors.
All items are from a non-smoking environment.

Since women's sizes vary a great deal amongst the many different clothing manufacturers, please read the measurements on this listing. The measurements provided are of the actual item that is pictured and described. Please compare the measurements provided to your own body measurements or to an item you own that fits comfortably.
HOW TO READ THE MEASUREMENTS PROVIDED
The bust, waist and hip measurements are all provided as circumference around in inches. These numbers are derived from the flat across measurement doubled. When there are two numbers separated by a -, for example 44”-50”, provided as a measurement it indicates the fabric, structure and/or elastic at that spot is stretchy. The first number is the un-stretched measurement. The second number is the maximum stretched measurement.
The length of a garment is measured from the shoulder to the bottom hem; or waistline to bottom hem on a skirt or pants.
The sleeve length is the measurement from the shoulder seam along the top of the sleeve to the bottom hem of the cuff.
The belt length only measures the belt itself and not the buckle sticking out beyond the belt.
A measurement marked as N/A indicates the garment does not cover that part of the body, for example, a short top that doesn't reach the hips will have N/A for the hip measurement.
A measurement marked as Free indicates there is an excess of fabric at that spot making it difficult to take a reliable straight-across measurement, for example the hip measurement on a circle skirt.
All of my measurements conform to this format. Any exceptions to this format will be noted and explained in the listing.
For the best fit I recommend allowing at least two inches over the maximum measurement compared to your measurements. For example, if your waist measures 30”, look for clothing that measures at least 32” for the most comfortable fit. This is only a guideline and is based on a looser fit. Tight-fitting or tailored clothing may be only an inch larger than actual body measurements.
